“Iikaa” is a word rooted in movement and emergence. In Anishinaabemowin, there are interpretations where “Iikaa” is an adverb signifying an abundance of earth or taking care of something in a good way. At Iikaa Philanthropy, we walk alongside philanthropic and social impact organizations as they move toward more equitable, community-centered ways of giving.

Iikaa Philanthropy brings a unique blend of lived experience, Indigenous knowledge, and fundraising expertise to philanthropic institutions and nonprofits. We support organizations in building major and planned gift programs, training teams in relationship-based fundraising, and shifting donor relationships away from transactional models toward reciprocal, values-aligned partnerships. We help our clients shift from extractive models to regenerative ones, from scarcity thinking to relational abundance.
